Sacramento County, California: A head-on crash on State Route 104 in Sacramento County left at least one person dead, the California Highway Patrol said.
Officers received reports of the collision at around 5:19 a.m. Thursday on eastbound State Route 104 near Clay Station Road.
First responders found two cars involved in a head-on collision, with one overturned.
At least one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers did not immediately determine the cause of the accident, but an investigation is ongoing.
