At Least 1 Person Airlifted after Car Accident on Phelan Road in Phelan
Phelan, California: At least one person was airlifted to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning near an intersection in Phelan.
The wreck was reported around 7:13 a.m. near Phelan Road and Wilson Ranch Road.
Firefighters responded to the scene near Heritage School and found a green Toyota Camry and a silver Honda Accord involved in the crash.
Two people were injured in the crash. The firefighters requested a medical helicopter to airlift at least one of the patients who suffered major injuries, including a significant ankle injury.
CHP Victorville Station is investigating the collision.
