At Least One Person Severely Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 near Rocks Road

At Least 1 Seriously Injured in San Juan Bautista Accident on Hwy 101

San Juan Bautista, California: One person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon on Highway 101 in San Juan Bautista.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash was reported around 1:16 p.m. in the northbound lane of the highway at Rocks Road.

A blue Nissan sedan and a gray Honda Civic were involved in the accident. One of the vehicles reportedly pulled into the highway from a side road prior to the crash.

A male and female occupant were reportedly stuck in the blue Nissan sedan.

A male occupant in the Honda got out of the car and was complaining of pain to the knee and neck.

The report said the crash resulted in major injuries but did not specify the car occupant who was severely hurt.

All northbound lanes of Highway 101 were shut down following the collision. Traffic was being diverted to Rocks Road.
