Authorities Identify Victim of Head-On Collision on Interstate 95 in Needles
San Bernardino County, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner identified the victim of a deadly head-on collision that happened early Sunday morning in Needles as 37-year-old Rayleen Hurtado.
The wreck occurred around 5:54 a.m. on Interstate 95 at mile marker 71.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a possible SUV and a semi-truck. The vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason.
Hurtado died in the collision, authorities said.
No other details were given, but an investigation is ongoing.
