Authorities Investigating Deadly Crash on Highway 395 in Lee Vining
Mono County, California: One person died in a traffic collision that happened Saturday morning on Highway 395 in Lee Vining, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck took place around 10:23 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway just north of Conway Summit.
CHP said a white Jeep and an Enterprise box truck collided, possibly head-on, for an unknown reason.
One person died in the crash, the report said.
The report also said another person was bleeding from the head.
The highway remained closed during an investigation.
