Authorities Investigating Fatal Mesa Accident on U.S. 60
Mesa, Arizona: Authorities are investigating a deadly car accident that happened Tuesday afternoon on U.S. 60 in Mesa involving several vehicles.
The accident was reported to officers at around 12:30 p.m. near Greenfield Road.
Police said several vehicles were involved in the collision.
First responders closed the westbound lanes of the highway.
At least one person died in the crash.
One traffic lane was reopened shortly after 2 p.m.
Investigators are investigating the cause of the collision.
