Bakersfield Motorcycle Officer Injured in Crash
Bakersfield, California: A Bakersfield police officer was hospitalized after crashing into a stalled vehicle Wednesday afternoon near an intersection in northwest Bakersfield.
According to Bakersfield police, one of their motorcycle officers was riding near Brimhall and Coffee roads when at around 1:19 p.m., they crashed into a stalled car.
The officer suffered moderate injuries in the crash.
A woman in the car was not hurt.
Police did not immediately determine why the woman was stopped partially in the roadway.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
