Belinda Baliton Killed in Murrieta Crash at Hancock Avenue and Parkcrest Drive
Murrieta, California – Belinda Baliton, 73, was killed in a head-on collision that happened on Wednesday night in Murrieta.
The fatal collision happened around 11:50 p.m. near the intersection of Hancock Avenue and Parkcrest Drive, according to the Murrieta Police Department.
Scott Anthony Ryan, 29, of Murrieta, was driving a car on Heacock when veered into oncoming traffic and crashed into another car.
Baliton was riding in the second car and was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar where she died while receiving treatment.
The male driver of the second car suffered major injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Ryan’s passenger was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ryan was arrested on suspicion of DUI gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI and was booked into the Byrd Detention Center.
