Long Beach, California – The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has identified a pedestrian who died after being struck by a car on Friday night in Long Beach.

The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Carson Street and Gundry Avenue at around 10:40 p.m., according to the Long Beach Police Department.

A vehicle was traveling east on Carson Street when it struck 39-year-old Benjamen Golonsky.

The man died at the accident scene.
