Benjamin Lobbins Killed in Lancaster Motorcycle Crash at Avenue K and Sixth Street East
Lancaster, California – The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has released the identity of a motorcyclist who was killed in a collision in Lancaster on Thursday evening.
At around 5:15 p.m., deputies from the Lancaster station responded to reports of a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Avenue K and Sixth Street East.
The driver of a Lincoln Zephyr reportedly made a left turn from westbound Avenue K and struck 31-year-old Benjamin Lobbins who was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Avenue K.
Lobbins was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Lincoln was arrested on suspicion of DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
