Carpinteria, California: A bicyclist died in a traffic collision Tuesday morning in Carpinteria, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 8:44 a.m. on Highway 150, just south of Via Real.
Authorities said a bicyclist was hit by a car under unclear circumstances.
The cyclist died in the accident.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
