41-Year-Old Bradley Allen Proudfoot Dies in Santa Monica Bicycle Accident on Lincoln Boulevard
Bicyclist Hit and Killed by Two Cars in Santa Monica Identified
Santa Monica, California: 41-year-old Bradley Allen Proudfoot of Los Angeles died when he was hit by two vehicles while riding a bicycle early Sunday morning in Santa Monica, authorities said.
The incident was reported around 12:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Lincoln Boulevard.
The Santa Monica Police Department said Proudfoot was riding a bicycle southbound on Lincoln Boulevard when he was hit by a car and subsequently struck again by a second vehicle.
The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both drivers stopped after the accident and cooperated with investigators. Police said neither driver showed signs of intoxication.
