Bicyclist Injured in Crash at Sycamore Canyon and Westmont in Montecito
Montecito, California – A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a car on Tuesday morning in Montecito.
The bicycle accident happened at Sycamore Canyon and Westmont roads at around 11 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 27-year-old man was riding a bicycle in the area and was struck by a Toyota hatchback in unclear circumstances.
The man suffered traumatic injuries and was taken to Barbara Cottage Hospital by AMR ambulance.
The driver of the Toyota was unhurt.
