Bicyclist Killed After Colliding with Truck in Spokane ID’d
Spokane, Washington: 19-year-old Kenneth Brandenburg of Davenport was identified as the bicyclist who died after colliding with a dump truck last week in Spokane.
Brandenburg died at the scene of the accident, which occurred at around 12:10 p.m. on state Route 206 at Market Street.
Investigators said the cyclist was riding east on the highway, and a dump truck driver was traveling south in a private lot.
The truck turned onto the highway, causing Brandenburg to strike the passenger side of the truck.
The truck drove away but returned later.
Brandenburg died of injuries sustained in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
