Tucson, Arizona – A bicyclist was severely hurt following a car accident on Sunday at an intersection in Tucson, according to Tucson Police.
The accident happened at the East 22nd Street and South Avenida Polar intersection.
Police said a man was riding a bicycle when a car struck him.
The bicyclist suffered severe injuries due to the collision. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately known.
Authorities blocked the roadway temporarily to give way to an on-scene investigation.
An investigation is underway.
