Bicyclist Hurt in Car Crash at Fair Oaks Avenue and Peoria Street
Pasadena, California – The Pasadena Police Department is investigating a major bicycle accident that severely injured a cyclist on Thursday morning in Pasadena.
The crash happened at around 5:34 a.m. on Fair Oaks Avenue and Peoria Street.
Authorities confirmed 66-year-old man from Pasadena was cycling a bicycle when a Ford truck operated by a 59-year-old man of Los Angeles hit him.
Emergency crews and medics transported the bicyclist to the hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
The truck driver was arrested for driving without a license.
Police closed North Fair Oaks Avenue to give way to an on-scene investigation.
The incident remains under investigation.
