Billy Copple Killed in Fresno Car Accident at Highway 168 and Shepherd Avenue
Clovis, California – The Fresno County Coroner’s has identified the Tesla driver who died in a head-on collision last week Wednesday in Clovis.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident happened at Highway 168 and Shepherd Avenue at around 10:10 p.m.
32-year-old Billy Copple was driving a Tesla eastbound on the highway when he lost control and crashed head-on into a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck operated by a 59-year-old man from Prather.
Copple, a resident of Prather, was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Chevy was transported to the hospital with major injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
