Blanca Guerrero Identified as Woman Killed in La Puente Accident at Fairgrove Ave and Hacienda Blvd
La Puente, California (May 13, 2023) – The woman killed after a pedestrian accident on Monday afternoon in La Puente has been identified as 76-year-old Blanca Arcelia Guerrero, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The accident occurred on Fairgrove Avenue and Hacienda Boulevard at about 2:20 p.m. on May 9.
Authorities confirmed that the Hacienda La Puente Unified school bus hit Guerrero for unknown reasons.
Responding fire officials confirmed Guerrero died at the crash site.
It was not immediately known if any students were on board at the time of the crash.
Police did not believe alcohol or drugs to have contributed to the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
