Boy Injured in Fresno Pedestrian Accident at Caesar and Huntington Avenues
Fresno, California – A 6-year-old boy was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle at an intersection in Fresno on Sunday morning.
The accident was reported at about 1 a.m. at Caesar and Huntington avenues, according to Fresno police.
The boy was running across the street to greet his family when a car struck him.
Police say the boy sustained a broken leg and other minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Intoxication did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
