Long Beach, California – A teenage motorcyclist died after colliding with a car in Redondo Beach on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened around 2:17 p.m. at the intersection of Carnelian Street and Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Redondo Beach Police Department.
The teenager was riding a motorcycle southbound on Pacific Coast Highway when he collided with a car making a turn onto westbound Carnelian Street.
The boy was transported to an area hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The woman driving the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
