Brent Evans Identified as Victim of Deadly Bakersfield Bicycle Accident
Bakersfield, California: The family of the bicyclist who fell off his bike and was fatally hit by a car Tuesday evening in Bakersfield identified him as 38-year-old Brent Evans.
The collision occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Airport Drive and Washington Avenue.
Evans was riding his bicycle outside of a crosswalk when he fell off and got hit by an oncoming vehicle, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The cyclist died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
