Caleb Tatum Killed in Glenn County Crash at County Road P and County Road 24

Glenn County, California (April 29, 2023) – The Glenn County Coroner’s Office has identified 28-year-old Caleb Tatum of Orland as the person killed in a traffic crash on Wednesday night in Glenn County.

The deadly collision happened around 7:30 p.m. on April 26 at County Road P and County Road 24.

Authorities said Tatum was heading westbound on County Road 24 in a 1999 Ford truck when he did not halt for a stop sign at County Road P and crashed into a 2022 Ford truck heading northbound on County Road P.

30-year-old Jacob Shriver operated the Ford.

Tatum’s truck rolled over and crashed into a utility pole following the collision.

Tatum was not wearing a seatbelt then and was thrown out of his truck. He died from the collision.

Shriver did not accept medical assistance at the accident location.

An investigation is ongoing.
