Caltrans Employee Hit and Seriously Injured by Motorcycle near San Pablo
San Pablo, California: A Caltrans worker was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a motorcycle early Saturday morning in San Pablo.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the eastbound 80 Freeway, just west of El Portal Drive, after they were notified about the accident.
The responding CHP officers found a Caltrans employee who was hit by a motorcycle at a construction zone in the area.
The victim had major injuries. The patient was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The investigators did not immediately determine what transpired leading to the accident.
