Candace Ann Zenor Killed in Tucson Car Crash on 22nd Street and Sarnoff Drive

Tucson, Arizona – 68-year-old Candace Ann Zenor has been identified as the person killed in a car crash on Thursday night in Tucson.

According to the Tucson Police Department, the collision happened at around 9:15 p.m. June 29, on E. 22nd Street and S. Sarnoff Drive.

Authorities said Zenor was attempting to turn left onto southbound Sarnoff Drive from eastbound 22nd Street in a 2018 Nissan Murano when the Nissan was struck by a 2018 Dodge Caravan.

Zenor was rushed to the hospital where she died.

The Dodge driver, a 35-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police confirmed the Dodge driver was impaired and traveling above the posted speed limit at the time.

An investigation is underway.
