Child, 10, Dies after Twentynine Palms Crash at Marine Base

Twentynine Palms, California – A 10-year-old child died after a collision at a Marine Base in Twentynine Palms last week Friday.

The accident happened around 12:30 p.m. at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, according to a statement by the MCAGCC spokesperson.

A MCAGCC Provost Marshal Office vehicle is reported to have collided with another vehicle in unclear circumstances.

A ten year-old boy was injured seriously injured and was transported to the hospital where he died on Sunday, February 18.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is investigating the cause of the accident.
