Child Hurt in Dirt Bike Crash in Templeton
Templeton, California: A ten-year-old child was hospitalized after a dirt bike collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in Templeton.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two children aged 10 and 15 were riding dirt bikes on private property on South Main Street when, at around 4:20 p.m., the dirt bikes collided.
The 10-year-old suffered a head injury and a suspected broken bone. The child was taken by ground ambulance to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo.
The other child was reportedly uninjured.
Police said both children were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
