Child Injured in Goleta Bicycle Accident at Fairview Avenue and Berkley Road
Goleta, California (November 10, 2023) – A juvenile bicyclist was injured after being hit by a car in Goleta on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident was reported around 3:07 p.m., at Fairview Avenue and Berkley Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities say two juveniles were riding their bicycles across the intersection when they were struck by a westbound Honda Civic that was turning left onto N. Fairview Avenue.
One of the children suffered injuries to his legs and ankles and was treated at the scene before being transported to Cottage Hospital for treatment.
