Granite Bay, California – At least one person died in a car crash that happened on Sunday evening in Granite Bay.
The accident was reported at around 5:45 p.m. in the area of Barton Road and Douglas Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A red Jeep and black Escalade were involved in the accident, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established. One of the vehicles overturned after the collision.
CHP says a juvenile passenger in the Jeep was killed in the accident.
Both the driver and the front passenger in the Jeep suffered minor injuries in the collision.
The driver of the Escalade was unhurt.
