Pomona, California – A child was killed in a pedestrian accident that left a woman seriously injured in Pomona on Tuesday night.
The accident happened around 8:02 p.m. in the area of Towne and Lexington avenues, according to the Pomona Police Department.
A woman and a female child were struck by a car in unclear circumstances.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to the incident and pronounced the child dead at the scene.
The woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
