CHP Investigating Major Injury Accident on SR-98 near Holtville
Imperial County, California: At least one person was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened Friday afternoon on a highway near Holtville.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at about 2:13 p.m. on eastbound State Route 98, just west of Bornt Road.
First responders found a black Volkswagen and a black Nissan Sentra involved in the collision.
At least one person suffered major injuries. The victim was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
CHP is investigating the crash.
