CHP Investigating Serious Injury Accident in Lake County
Lake County, California: The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car collision that left at least one person with major injuries and sent another to jail Thursday evening in Lake County.
The collision occurred around 5:56 p.m. on State Route 29 at Hofacker Lane in Lower Lake.
CHP said a speeding sedan collided with another vehicle for an unknown reason.
At least one person was transported to the hospital with severe injuries sustained in the collision.
A driver of one of the cars was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail on suspicion of DUI and DUI causing bodily injury.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
