Palmdale, California: A California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer was hospitalized in critical condition after a three-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in Palmdale.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. at Columbia Way and 6th Street West.
The crash involved the officer, a gray Jeep Cherokee, and a white Nissan Sentra.
The officer was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
The motorcycle was heavily damaged in the crash.
The intersection was closed for an investigation.
