Christian Ortega Killed in Fountain Valley Crash on Warner Avenue
Fountain Valley, California – Christian Ortega, 38, of Tustin, has been identified as the man who died in a car accident on Saturday morning in Fountain Valley.
The accident happened shortly before noon on Warner Avenue near Bushard Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Ortega was driving a gray Toyota Tundra eastbound on Warner Avenue when he entered the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a red Tesla Y sedan. A blue Toyota Tacoma also collided with the truck.
Ortega was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The Tesla driver suffered major injuries and was transported to Hoag Hospital.
The driver of the Tacoma was transported to UC Irvine with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
