Christopher Moore Killed in Merced County Pedestrian Accident at Winton and Santa Fe
Merced, California – A man who died after being struck by a train in Merced County on Sunday night has been identified.
The fatal collision happened at around 11 p.m. in the area of Winton Way and Santa Fe Drive.
39-year-old Christopher Moore of Winton was walking in the area and was struck by an Amtrak train traveling toward Sacramento.
Moore was killed in the accident.
Amtrak police are investigating the accident.
