Corazon Lange Dies After Sorrento Valley Crash on Carroll Canyon Road
Sorrento Valley, California – The San Diego Police have identified Corazon Lange, 90, as the person killed in a head-on crash on Thursday afternoon last week in Sorrento Valley.
The deadly accident occurred on Carroll Canyon Road at about 1:30 p.m.
A driver of a white sedan reportedly traveled at a high rate of speed, lost control, and drifted over the center line crashing head-on into an SUV.
Lange, her two daughters, and their husbands were riding in the SUV at the time.
The five sedan occupants were extricated and rushed to local hospitals for treatment of severe injuries.
Lange succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
No other details regarding this incident were released.
The incident remains under investigation.
