Damian Cardenas Killed in Arvin Accident at Traver Way and El Camino Real
Arvin, California (February 25, 2023) – The Kern County coroner’s office has identified Damian Ayala Cardena, 9, as the boy killed in a bicycle collision with a truck on Thursday in Arvin.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the deadly accident occurred at the Travel Way and El Camino Real intersection.
Damian was riding his bike at the junction when he crashed into a truck.
First responders rushed the boy to Kern Medical, where he died.
No other details concerning this collision were released.
The incident remains under investigation.
