Cyclist Hit and Killed by Car on I-280 in San Francisco

San Francisco, California: A bicyclist died after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in San Francisco, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident was reported shortly before 12:30 a.m. on northbound Interstate 280 near the Alemany Boulevard East on-ramp.

CHP said a cyclist was hit by a car under unclear circumstances.

The victim died in the collision.

Investigators closed northbound I-280 north of Monterey Boulevard as they investigated.
