Cyclist Hospitalized After Being Hit by Pickup Truck in Victorville
Victorville, California: a bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a pickup truck Tuesday afternoon in Victorville.
The Victorville Police Department said the accident happened around 1:40 p.m. on La Paz Drive south of Roy Rogers Drive.
A gray Ford F-150 struck a male bicyclist under unclear circumstances.
First responders found the bicycle wedged underneath the front of the pickup truck and the male rider lying in the roadway.
The cyclist was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The male driver was not injured and cooperated with investigators.
VPD is investigating the collision.
