Cyclist Killed in Sacramento State Campus Crash
Sacramento, California: A bicyclist died after he was struck by a car Saturday morning on the campus of Sacramento State University, according to the Sacramento State Police Department.
The incident occurred at about 11:37 a.m. on State University Drive near Sequoia Hall and the American River.
Police responded to the area and found a male adult with severe injuries.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by personnel with the Sacramento Fire Department.
The driver of the car involved remained at the scene.
The accident is being investigated by the Sacramento Police Department’s Major Collision Investigation Unit.
