Cyclist Severely Hurt in Crash on I-5 in Orange
Orange, California: A cyclist was hospitalized after colliding with a car late Thursday afternoon on northbound Interstate 5 in Orange, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred around 5:25 p.m. at the Chapman Avenue off-ramp.
Authorities said a bicyclist collided with a car for an unknown reason.
The rider suffered major injuries, including bleeding from the head and experiencing seizures. The victim was taken to UCI trauma center for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
