Daniel Abidor Killed in Santa Clarita Motorcycle Accident on San Francisquito Canyon Road
Santa Clarita, California – Daniel Abidor, 23, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision that happened in Santa Clarita on Sunday night.
The motorcycle crash was reported around 11:20 p.m. on San Francisquito Canyon Road near Runner Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Leona Valley man was riding a motorcycle southbound on San Francisquito Canyon Road and drifted across the double yellow lines while attempting to pass another vehicle and ended up colliding with a 2015 Honda and ended up colliding with a 2015 Honda.
Daniel suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Honda was transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.

According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
