Daniel Jennings Sustains Fatal Injuries After Car Crash on Franklin Boulevard
Sacramento, California – The Sacramento County Coroner’s office has identified 54-year-old Daniel Lee Jennings of Sacramento as the man killed in an alleged DUI collision early Monday morning in Sacramento.
The deadly crash happened at about 12:45 a.m. on Franklin Boulevard near Sunmeadow Drive.
Authorities confirmed an SUV, and a sedan collided for unknown reasons.
Jennings, the sedan driver, was declared dead at the crash site.
The SUV driver identified as 46-year-old Alvin Chand of Elk Grove was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested Chand on charges of vehicular manslaughter and murder. He was booked him into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
An investigation is ongoing.
