Daniel Perkins Identified as Motorcyclist Killed in Portland Crash
Portland, Oregon: 37-year-old Daniel Perkins was the motorcyclist who died after colliding with a car Sunday afternoon near an intersection in Portland, the Portland Police Bureau reported.
Perkins was involved in the crash around 5:11 p.m. near Southeast 140th Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard.
Emergency personnel responded to the area after receiving reports of a motorcycle versus car accident.
The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene.
Investigators determined that illegal passing was a contributing factor.
