Daughter of Former Calaveras County Firefighter Killed in Head-on Crash
Calaveras County, California: Lilly Butler, the daughter of a former Calaveras County firefighter, died Wednesday in a head-on collision, the Calaveras Consolidated Fire District Protection said.
The crash happened around 2:45 p.m. on Highway 246 and Shelton Road.
The fire department said two vehicles collided head-on under unclear circumstances.
Butler, whose father was a former captain with the department, died in the crash.
The deceased was a senior at Calaveras High School and was the Amador County Fair Rodeo Queen in 2022.
The other driver was hospitalized with a head injury.
