David Olmos Killed in Huntington Beach Bicycle Accident on Talbert Avenue
Huntington Beach, California – 18-year-old David Mario Garcia Olmos was killed in a bicycle accident that happened on Thursday morning in Huntington Beach.
The accident occurred around 6:15 a.m. on Talbert Avenue just west of Bell Circle, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Olmos was walking in the area and was struck by a 2016 Kia Sorrento traveling westbound on Talbert Avenue.
Olmos was rushed to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The 26-year-old Fullerton man driving the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
