Deadly Accident on Highway 395 in Susanville
Susanville, California: Authorities are investigating a fatal accident that happened Wednesday afternoon on Highway 395 in Susanville.
The wreck occurred around 5:14 p.m. south of Bass Hill Road.
Reportedly, a white car tried to pass a red car but did so unsafely and caused a collision.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and requested an air ambulance to respond and airlift at least one person to the hospital.
The highway was shut down to allow the helicopter to land.
The report said at least one person died in the accident.
Both cars were towed away with major crash damage.
