Deadly Car Accident on Highway 152 near Hollister
Santa Clara County, California: Authorities are investigating a deadly car collision that happened early Friday morning near Hollister.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision happened around 1:36 a.m. on Highway 152, just west of Lovers Lane.
A gray van and a black Honda sedan were involved in the collision. The van reportedly caught fire after the collision.
The report said at least one person died in the accident. The Santa Clara County Coroner responded to the scene following the collision.
The highway was closed in both directions following the accident. All lanes were reopened by 6:03 a.m.
