Deadly Compton Car Accident on 710 Freeway
Compton, California: At least one person died in a traffic collision that happened Sunday morning on a freeway in Compton, the California Highway Patrol said.
Officers received reports of the collision around 5:15 a.m. on southbound 710 Freeway, just north of E Alondra Boulevard.
At least two vehicles collided, and one overturned, blocking traffic lanes.
CHP said at least one person was killed in the collision.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
