Deadly Crash on 5 Freeway in Mission Viejo
Mission Viejo, California: One person died in a traffic collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in Mission Viejo.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place around 12:22 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, just south of Crown Valley Parkway.
A Chevrolet pickup truck collided with another vehicle and overturned onto its roof.
Firefighters responded to the scene and pronounced one person dead at the scene.
It was unclear if any other person was hurt.
CHP officials are investigating the collision.
