Deadly Crash on Highway 50 in Sacramento
Sacramento, California: One person died in a traffic collision that happened early Wednesday morning on Highway 50 in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities said at around 2 a.m., the driver of a car slammed into an unoccupied construction truck in a construction zone.
The driver of the car died in the crash.
Investigators closed the 65th Street on-ramp to Highway 50 to westbound traffic at Stockton Boulevard.
